They appear to be a quality, good product. I like the, "low profile" of the window shades. Still effective with allowing fresh air in but keeps any rain out. My wife enjoys them and looks forward to them binging installed (digs fresh air). Adds some sexiness, sleekness & character to my vehicle. Long Gevity, tape adhesiveness, no fading, cracking or chipping, remains to be seen but I feel good about the product.

What kept the rating down is that, for my 2007 Accord, If I want the vent shade to keep rain from coming in the rear windows I can only crack open the windows less than 1/4". If I open it more than that the rear part of the rear window won't be covered by the vent shade due to the curve of the window. AutoVentshade would need to redesign the rear shades to fix this. The main reason for having the shades is so I can open the windows to let the Florida summer heat out while not letting the Florida summer rain in.

Product description was confusing. It initially said that it was an in channel install, but actually it is a tape on. Not what we wanted

Edges look like they had been cut with a bandsaw and not polished. I have taken a photo so you can see. It wouldn’t have taken long to polish the edges. Not too apparent but still a little unsettling as far as appearance sake.

I purchased a set of the Vent Shades about two years ago. One of the rear window shades came off during driving. I contacted the seller and was told AVS did not replace individual pieces, so I was forced to but another complete set. Right out of the package I went to install just the missing shade and some of the adhesive on the attached mounting tape pulled off with the installation protective red film. I wonder how long this shade will remain attached... I have installed the same type and one of the same brand on other vehicles and this is the first time I ever lost one during use, not even when going through automatic car washes.

I have installed these on most of my vehicles for many years and don’t like not having them. Looks good, works great, and holds up for the life of the vehicle.
