About Warn

When it comes to auto accessories, it's always best to go with go with experience - and few companies have as much industry experience as Warn Industries. Founded in 1948 by Arthur Warn, Warn Industries first began by producing locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps, converting thousands of military 4x4s into useful, on-road vehicles. While this certainly helped establish Warn's presence within a specific niche market in the auto industry, the company didn't become a household name until 1959, when the Warn Winch was put on the market.

The Warn Winch - the first recreational winch ever made - was nothing short of revolutionary. Now do-it-yourselfers could utilize Warn technology without having to rent an expensive construction vehicle. Plus, with pioneering features like the rugged drive train, the Warn Winch quickly became the go-to for off-road racers, avid four wheelers, weekend adventurers, and hard working ranchers.

Warn has always been at the forefront of the winch industry. Beginning in the 1980s, Warn began to cater to the specific needs of ATV drivers and created their patented ATV winch, an industry first, in 1988. Although the company is 60 years old, Warn Industries continues to innovate. Every Warn Winch is created by the company's prestigious design team to meet the high standards of professional workers and recreational off-roaders alike. They're all made on-site in the Warn Manufacturing plant in Portland, Oregon. Their manufacturing facility also adheres to all Total Quality Control practices and is ISO 9001/QS-9000 certified to ensure that every winch is worthy of prestigious Winch name.

Same quality of a WARN item you find at big box stores for around half the price. If you are considering this item, you know what it is. Installed easy (once I got the old, rusty ones removed) and now the 4WD works in my full-size bronco. Shipping was fast and painless. No complaints.

I recently installed Warn locking hubs on my 3/4 ton Dodge. Installation was fairly quick and straightforward, they look fantastic, and work great. Totally eliminated the banging and clunking from my original warnout factory hubs. Very satisfied.
